June 11 - "Postcards from America", Maria Witkop, Power of Reach

Maria's work through Power of Reach is centered on connecting people, ideas, and communities to create meaningful impact. During her presentation, she will share insights from her latest project, Postcards from America, an inspiring exploration of the people, places, and stories that reflect the heart of our nation.

June 18 - "Powerlift Your Life: How to Envision, Design and Create the Life You LOVE", Faith Ireland, Retired Supreme Court Justice

Justice Faith Ireland retired from the Supreme Court after serving 21
years in the judiciary. She is now a Mediator, Arbitrator and Appellate Consultant
with JAMS. She is also a Results Coach. Her 2024 memoir Getting to Justice is
available on Amazon.

July 9 - "Let''s Commit to Radical Kindness and Fierce Civility", Donna Cameron, Author

It’s hard not to be overwhelmed and disheartened by the daily news. This is a good time to pause and reflect on what we want most for the world we’re living in. For many of us, that would be a return to kindness. Donna will share the benefits of kindness, the barriers to kindness, and the skills of kindness. As she reveals both the why and how of choosing kindness, she will show us how to claim this life-changing—and world-changing—power.

July 23 - "Why Storytelling is the Most Underrated Skill in Business", Melissa Reaves, Story Fruition

Melissa's presentation will explore how compelling stories help organizations build trust, strengthen relationships, inspire action, and stand out in today's crowded marketplace. Whether you're a business owner, nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, marketer, or community volunteer, you'll gain practical insights on using storytelling to connect more effectively with your audience.

July 30 - "Join or Die" public screening of the documentary film about why you should join a club—and why the fate of America may depend on it.

The Sammamish Rotary Club and the Sammamish Library invite community members to a free public screening of Join or Die, an award-winning documentary that explores the importance of civic engagement, community connections, and participation in local organizations. Join us for this thought-provoking film and a conversation about building stronger communities. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

August 6 - Harvest party at Bumblebee Farm

Join fellow Rotarians, friends and neighbors to volunteer at Bumblebee Farm, a local partner farm with Harvest Against Hunger.
