Community Grants

The Sammamish Rotary Foundation Community Grant Program provides grants to local nonprofit organizations and community groups for specific projects that address important needs and create measurable benefit in east King County.

Applications are due November 23, 2026.

    $250–$2,500

    Multiple grants may be awarded.

    Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Service Area

    Projects must benefit communities in East King County.

What We Fund

We welcome applications for practical, timebound projects that improve community well-being. Priority areas may include health, food security, youth development, environmental stewardship, and other needs that align with Rotary values of service, leadership, and community engagement.

Applicants should be prepared to provide their nonprofit status and Tax ID in the application.

Eligibility & Policies

  • The grant must support a community in east King County.
  • Specific, timebound projects are preferred over ongoing operating expenses.
  • Grant funds may not be used for staff salaries.
  • Grant payments are made directly to a charitable organization and cannot be paid to an individual.
  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
  • 1. Review Eligibility

    Confirm that your organization, project, service area, and planned use of funds meet the guidelines.

  • 2. Prepare Your Information

    Gather your project description, requested amount, timeline, anticipated outcomes, budget, nonprofit status, and Tax ID.

  • 3. Submit the Application

    Complete the online application by November 23, 2026. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

What Happens Next

Applications will be reviewed by the Community Services Committee using the criteria above. Grant recipients will be contacted and invited to share their work at a Rotary meeting on a mutually agreeable date.
