Sammamish Rotary Supports Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank at Recipe for Hope Luncheon
On Tuesday, September 29, members of the Rotary Club of Sammamish gathered at The Club at Newcastle to support the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank at its annual Recipe for Hope luncheon.
Sammamish Rotary was proud to purchase a table of 10 for the event, giving club members an opportunity to come together, learn more about the Food & Clothing Bank’s work, and show our support for neighbors in need throughout our community.
Clint Scott served as our table captain, joined by Norm and Joyce Bottenberg, Doug Nelson, Marilyn Guthrie, Nina Chatterji, Naoko Vaughn, Josh Amato, Ron Borowski and Larry Jordan.
The luncheon brought together community members, supporters, and local organizations around a shared commitment to helping individuals and families access nutritious food, clothing, and other essential resources.
Supporting organizations like the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank is a natural fit with Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self. By showing up, contributing, and building connections with other community-minded organizations, Sammamish Rotary continues to make a difference close to home.
We’re grateful to the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank for the important work it does in our community—and proud to have been part of this special gathering.
Together, we can help create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
