ROTARY CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS – Please check out the Club Calendar on our website at –

  • Please watch up (Sign Up Genius) for the upcoming Nightmare at Beaver Lake Work Parties on the following dates.  Note that these are all held at the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church:
  • Weekly Announcements:  Please note the following process for sending announcements to be included in the weekly Rotary email which I send out.  I’m working to streamline the process and make it efficient for me, especially since I often need to craft these while traveling 😊:
    • Send all announcements to the following email account:
    • In the “Subject Header” please write:  Rotary Announcement Week of… Month, Day,Year.  The date should correspond to the week you want the email to first appear.
    • Try to follow the format used each week to shape your message:  Day of the week, Month, Day. Year, Time, Title of Event and Location, followed by the details. If you can send your message in ‘Arial Narrow’ font that also helps with efficiency 😊
    • Once an announcement is included in a weekly email, you don’t need to resend, unless you want the message changed.  This will continue to appear until the date of the event has passed.
    • Please try to have all announcements to me by Sunday PM so I can craft the email to go out on Monday. I will do my best to acknowledge receipt of all emails within 24 hours.

Invite a Guest to a Club Meeting. Our goal is to add 5 new members this year. The Membership Committee is providing an incentive for each member who brings a potential new member to any club meeting for August or September 2018. Any member of our club who brings a potential new member to any meeting should inform the Membership chair (CJ Kahler) of their guest’s name, telephone number, and e-mail address along with the date of their attendance. Each member who follows this procedure will be entered into a drawing at our October 4 meeting. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate for Ruth Chris Steak House.

Puget Sound Rotary Network

The Puget Sound Rotary Network allows you to reach out to fellow Rotarians and tell them about your business and services. Or, you can use the the network to find a Rotarian whose business provides the service you are looking for. Since Rotarians live by the four way test, wouldn’t you want a fellow Rotarian refinishing your floors or providing financial advice? Please check out the link, and register your business. Or, look for the services or contractors that you need.
