Jerome graduated on May 24th from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts. He majored in Asian Studies with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. At graduation, he wore cords for his major, his concentration, and his internship with the Donelan Office of Community-Based Learning. The pins on his hood represented the Student Government Association, Purple Key Society, and for living the mission of the college. Finally, Jerome’s medal is a Presidential Service Award that he was awarded for his exceptional service to the college and Greater Worcester community. Jerome departs mid-June to begin teaching English as a foreign language in China through the Peace Corps. Jerome will be in China for two years, after which he plans on attending graduate school for global development and foreign policy.
