Scott Brewer became a Rotarian in 1990 and joined the Sammamish Club in 2008. He has enjoyed making a difference locally and globally through Rotary’s varied service opportunities as well as making lifetime friendships. Scott has served Rotary as chair of Community Service, International Service, Vocational Service and as club president on two different occasions.
Scott is married to Sherrie and together they have two adult sons and four grandchildren.
Scott has served as a college campus minister, college instructor in the Religion Department and for 40 years served local churches as a pastor. In 1990 Scott founded and continues to serve as Senior Pastor, Meadowbrook Church in Redmond, Washington.
Scott served for two years as president of the Northwest Baptist Convention, giving leadership to 450 churches in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. He has also served on the board of several non-profits and ministry agencies.
Scott holds a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Union University and has done additional graduate studies at Oxford University.
Scott enjoys playing basketball, running half-marathons, reading, conversation and good coffee.
